I'm amazed by the amount over coverage the US election process is getting in the UK. Last night there was an hour's worth over coverage on the democratic convention. Ironically enough the reporters mostly say how little there is to report and how the whole event is staged managed. I can't say I'd want Bush to serve another four years but will Kerry be any different? I think it's testament to the UK's interest in current affairs that this election is being covered so much. Of course it could be that with 24 hour news they have nothing else to talk about.
